Hey guys, Sooooo, if you guys know me, you know I am super pale. My grandma tells me it is because I have Scandinavian blood in me. Either way, I get super white in the winter, and I have to stay in the sun a long time to get a tan in the summer. I was always scared to try self tanners, because I did not want one that turned me orange or streaked. I had tried a gradual tanner before, and it did not work at all. That was many years ago. I got brave and decided to start asking some friends what they used. A lot of people recommended the Jergens Natural Glow. When I went to Target, they had a comparable product in Up and Up, which is Target's product line. It was about $2 dollars cheaper, so I decided to try that instead. It has been wonderful! The bottle is 7 ounces, and they have two tones, which are fair to medium and medium to dark. After one use of the fair to medium, I was noticeably darker. I have been using it for about a week now, and I am CONSIDERABLY darker from what I was. It gradually got darker and darker, and it looks very natural. I put it on every night after getting out of the shower, and from what I can tell, showering and shaving does not affect the color as long as you reapply. Not to mention, the lotion is super thick, and it is a skin firmer! You can kill two birds with one stone, because you do not have to moisturize before using this self-tanner. The smell is light, but it does have a smell. I have found by the time I wake up in the morning, the slight smell it had is gone for the most part. In the pictures below, you can see the darkness in my arm compared to my hand (I am still trying to work out how to get my hands tan without darkening my palms at the same time). For $6, this product get a 10/10 recommendation from me. I would love to know what you guys use! Comment below if you use another self tanner!
