My favorite oil is definitely coconut! So I thought I would share a few of my favorite ways to use it!
1. Makeup remover! That coconut oil is the best way to remove makeup. It even gets waterproof mascara off. It is a dream. It gets off that tough to remove makeup, it is great for sensitive skin, and it helps moisturize your skin. If you need another added plus, you will smell like dreamy coconuts, and who would not want that!! 2. Shaving cream! When heated, coconut oil is a liquid. Get a small bowl and put some in your shower. By the time you get ready to shave, dip some out and lather it on. Your legs will have never been softer! 3. Moisturizer! Every dry path on my skin, I am rubbing in coconut oil. It is great for my sensitive skin, and it helps my skin out! Once again, you smell like a coconut, so who can complain? 4. Tanning oil! I rub some coconut oil on my arms and legs before laying out by the pool. It will help attract that sun to your skin. 5. Chapstick! When my lips get chapped, I dip a Q-tip in my jar and rub some of it on my lips. It tastes like coconuts, and it only moisturizes your lips. Some chapstick makes your lips dry out, so you will keep using it! Not coconut oil! 6. Helpful preventative and healer for sunburns! Coconut oil can help prevent sunburns, and it can take away the sting of an already existing burn! 7. Cooking! When I make popcorn from scratch, I pop it using coconut oil! You cannot taste it, and it is a healthier oil to use! It is also great in smoothies! It clumps in cold, but it adds a little texture to the smoothie. The flavor adds to the tropical flavor of all of my smoothies! All in all, coconut oil is the best oil ever !!!

Y'all, RiverFest was the BOMB DIGGITY. I did not think I was one for concerts, but it was so much fun! The main reason we decided to go was to see Billy Currington. We have been obsessed with him for a very long time. When we found out he was performing, we both knew that we had to go. We did not know if we were 100% going until we were buying our tickets at 1 o'clock yesterday, due to rain chances. The drive was pretty easy, and we managed to avoid crazy rush hour traffic for the most part. We ate at Izzy's. When we walked inside, there was like 3 people in there. We saw no staff members. We both looked at each other like what have we gotten ourselves into, but a server came out and served us. The place was kind of a weird style, and the menu had almost anything you could think of on it. The food was really good, and the staff ended up being fantastic! We found a parking spot around 5:30, and we parked at the Heifer International Center, which was almost directly across from the entrance. We got lucky! We exchanged our tickets for armbands, got checked by security, and we were in! It was a hot day! At 6 o'clock, the lineup began with Dylan Scott and John Bellion. We walked down to John Bellion's stage just so we could hear "All Time Low." After that song played, we made our way back to Dylan Scott's stage, and he put on a really good show! He played some of his songs, and he sang his cover to songs. Then, after Dylan Scott, Colt Ford played. Max and I did not care for him very much. He played for about an hour and fifteen minutes. More and more people were crowding in during this concert. Even though the sun was down, we were all packed in like sardines and it was H O T !! Then, my man Billy came on, and it quickly became the best night ever! Even though we were sweating and could barely move without hitting someone, we sang and danced the night away. He played for an hour, and we sang our hearts out for an hour. Max and I both considered ourselves to not be concert people, but I think this concert proved us wrong. We had a great time, and we are already talking about finding another Billy Currington concert to attend!! |
